Jury of International Competition
In the section “WORLD MUSIC FILM TODAY”, which introduces latest films on the theme of music regardless of genre, the jury of five top experts representing each field of Korean Cinema selects one film of the nominees. A prize of 20 million won will be awarded to the selected film.

LEE Meong-Se Director

LEE Myung-se debuted with Gagman in 1989, and his works, including My Love, My Bride (1990), Nowhere To Hide (1999), The Duelist (2005), and M (2007), have drawn attention for brilliant mise-en-scene and camerawork. In addition to the new director’s award, he won several awards with critics’ praise. He was appointed as a executive chairman of the 15th Seoul Eco Film Festival.

SHIN Ji-hye CBS Announcer

SHIN Ji-hye is the producer and host of [SHIN Ji-hye’s Movie Music] by CBS-FM. She is currently an executive member of the Jecheon International Music & Film Festival and also of the Seoul International Agape Film Festival. She served as a judge at the CINDI Film Festival and Indie-AniFest.

OH Seung-uk Director

OH Seung-uk is a director and screenwriter in the production of the films, Kilimanjaro (2000) and The Shameless (2015). He is also a screenwriter for Christmas in August (1998), The Uprising (1999), H (2002), and Rikidozan: A Hero Extraordinary (2004).

LEE Han-seung CEO of LEEYANG FILM

LEE Han-seung is currently CEO of “LEEYANG FILM” after serving as a distribution team leader of “CHUNGEORAHM FILM” and the investment team leader of CJ ENTERTAINMENT. He produced Like for Likes (2015), Rampant (2018), and MR. ZOO: The Missing VIP (2019), and is currently in production of Don’t Touch Dirty Money (2019) and The Policeman’s Lineage (2020).

CHANG Yeong-yup Chief Editor of CINE21

Born in 1984 and the current Chief-editor of [Cine21]. She graduated from Ewha Womans University. She appeared as a panel at Olleh TV’s [Star Catch] and KBS’s [Midnight Cinema Music Room], and was a member of the jury at the Jeonju International Film Festival, Korea Entertainment Awards, and CJ Cultural Foundation’s Story Up. She co-published [The Movie People Talking about Movie People] (2017), and she is leading various changes in [Cine21], which she started as a reporter.
